72 Hours in Las Vegas

June 2, 2026

Las Vegas is extravagant, luxurious and over the top – perfect for a weekend vacation, whether it’s a girls trip, romantic getaway or a group trip with friends!

With world-class restaurants, both night and day clubs, incredible brunch spots and, of course, incredible things to do and see. If partying all day and night isn’t your idea of a fun weekend, Las Vegas also has some wonderful day trips to world famous places, like the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park.

In this blog post, I will be sharing some ideas of things to do and where to eat based off of my recent trip to Las Vegas, Nevada with a group of friends.

Where We Stayed

During our recent trip to Las Vegas, we decided to stay at The Fontaine Bleau Las Vegas! I am from Miami and I wish the original Fontaine Bleau here was as beautiful as the Las Vegas location. The Fontaine Bleau Las Vegas is absolutely incredible! All the restaurants are popular Miami restaurants, which are all top notch cuisine! The decor, service, bars, pools and areas for entertainment are outstanding!

Things to Do in Las Vegas

Head To A Pool Party Or Day Club

With warm temperatures year-round, a great way to cool off is by relaxing by a swimming pool. Many of the hotels in the city have huge and extravagant outdoor swimming pools, many with bars and cabanas.

Your group can spend the afternoon or day relaxing by a swimming pool, cooling off and enjoying incredible drinks. Some hotels also have day or pool parties with DJs and entertainment. We were able to see Dom Dolla perform at the LIV Pool in Vegas and it was SO much fun!

Watch a Sporting Event at Circa

Circa is known to be THE place to watch any sporting event due to their 40 foot high definition screens and their vibe. We had a great time here watching a football game in a cabana and munching on platters of chicken fingers and French fries and mini cheeseburgers poolside!

Spend Some Time Walking Around The Incredible Hotels

Just walking around the incredible hotels is a unique experience, with eccentric themes, huge casino floors, swimming pools, shopping malls, a zip line, rollercoasters and much more.

Head Out On The Strip

A Las Vegas wouldn’t be complete without a night out on the town. With lots of great rooftop bars, bars and nightclubs to visit, there is plenty of places to visit, no matter what type of music your group enjoys. If your group wants a quiet night, you can enjoy cocktails at a rooftop bar or at your hotel lobby bar. The hotel lobby bar at The Fontaine Bleau is beautiful and a great place to unwind and chill in an upscale ambiance.

Watch An Incredible Show

As well as being known for its day and night clubs, Las Vegas also has incredible shows, with residencies from famous performers around the world. There is always a concert happening in the city as well and The Sphere is a great place to attend a show or concert!

Enjoy A Bottomless Brunch At a Top Restaurant

A bachelorette weekend wouldn’t be complete without a bottomless brunch. Las Vegas has many brunch spots, from world-class restaurants in the incredible hotels to local hidden hole-in-the-wall brunch spots. You can even order room service to your room if you’re feeling lazy! The food from El Bagel in The Fontaine Bleau is fire and they delivered it to our room!

Visit a Cannabis Dispensary

Planet 13 is a fun place to visit if you want to anything cannabis related or even get a tattoo! They are open 24/7!

Eat Your Way Around Las Vegas

Las Vegas is filled with world-class restaurants and dining experiences, making it hard to choose where to dine. Here are our suggestions for some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas I ate at during my recent visit:

El Bagel

Miami Slice

Rosa Mexicano

China Poblano

Mother Wolf

Golden Steer

Pinky’s

Carbone

Take A Day Trip To Grand Canyon Or Zion National Park

Grand Canyon National Park is located just four and half hours from Vegas, with incredible hiking trails and viewpoints to enjoy. The Zion National Park is just two and a half hours from Vegas. Here are some tours I recommend if you want to do a day trip during your visit to Las Vegas:

Vegas: Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Skywalk Option, & Two Meals

Las Vegas: Sightseeing Night Tour by Open-top Bus

Las Vegas: The Sphere Experience — The Wizard of Oz

Vegas: Grand Canyon Helicopter Landing Tour and Champagne
